1.EVERY DANCER NEEDS TO FILL OUT THIS FORM ASAP!!!!!! EVEN IF YOU ARE A NO and EVEN IF YOU'VE TOLD TAMI! I need to know for driving arrangments, so please respond!!!!
Please fill out this form ASAP, so we can arrange for the Omaha Scandinavian Folkdance Workshop- February 15-16, 2020 (President’s Day Weekend)
We will leave from Scott’s parking lot at 8:00am Feb. 15 and get back about 5:30-6:00pm on Feb. 16.
Kids need to pay for a fast food meal on the way, and a fast food meal on the way back - otherwise dancers pays for the overnight and tuition (which includes meals while there and snacks galore and dancing the whole time).
Tami and Jim will be going, Natalie and Leland, and Angela Dolezal. We will need more parent drivers that may or don’t have to dance.
2. Red Wheel order forms will be handed out on January 7th at practice, they will be due back on February 12th, with a delivery date of March 7th. Please contact Cheryl Peterson with any questions at: eatsugarcp@yahoo.com
3. Remember your passports need to be done! I have to have them in hand by March for getting information to airlines!
4. Still need many health forms and copies of your insurance, please get those turned in ASAP!
5. Contact Kim Suhr if interested in making the Sweden shirt design by February 18th.
6. We will no longer be accepting check orders for Scrip. Please use one of the Presto Pay options, credit card or bank draft. Contact Rebecca Van Der Wege if you have questions.
6. We are having attendance issues and students not contacting Directors in a timely manner to let them know about being gone. Tami prefers 24 hours notice as she's making lineups. Please remember that only school activities are excused, outside activities and work are not excused. If you are hurt from a sport, you still can come to practice to make sure you're in the loop of what's going on and can try to learn from watching. Outside sports groups are not excused, nor should kids be leaving early from Dancer practice. Dancers, please contact both Tami and Angela Dolezal when you will be gone for a practice. Fiddlers, please let Mandy know.
Same goes for family meetings. They are on the calendar plenty in advance, please remember to contact Margo Lysell about family meeting absences, both dancers and a parent are expected to be there.
You do have unexcused absences that you are allowed to take- up to 4 per year, if you do know that you'll be gone and you are taking one of those, please still give the Directors the courtesy of letting them know you'll be gone, so they can plan accordingly.
7. Linda Branch has donated some great passport/money pouches. There are not enough for everyone, so it will be first come, first serve with a limit or one per family for now. If they aren't all taken, then we will disperse to anyone who wants them after the next email comes out.
8. Kim Suhr has requested that the following forms be filled out and emailed back to her. Please download and complete the following documents ASAP.
