Hello LSFD!  I want to welcome all new members joining LSFD as well as welcome back all veterans for another LSFD year! 2022 has brought us back to some normality, but some challenges may exist as we navigate this new dancer year.  With that said, we are excited to get this year started.  The website lsfd.info will continue to be the most up-to-date place to find information about our schedule and dates, so I encourage everyone to bookmark and check it often. 

 Below are some important dates for August so please make note.

IMPORTANT DATES

August 24th- 7pm First Dancer Practice of the school year! @ Soderstrom Gym **SEE EMAIL FROM ANGELA FOR DETAILS ON WHO NEEDS TO BE THERE**

August 28th- 3pm LSFD Board Meeting @ SVHS Steinberg Auditorium *Board Members Only*

August 28th- 4pm LSFD Family Meeting @ SVHS Steinberg Auditorium ***At least one family adult and dancer/fiddler must attend family meeting***

August 31st- 7pm Dancer Practice @ Soderstrom Gym **SEE EMAIL FROM ANGELA FOR DETAILS ON WHO NEEDS TO BE THERE**

Swedish Dancers,

We will start teaching the dances to the freshmen on August 24th and 31st from 7-8 pm, so all freshmen need to plan to attend and some veteran dancers have been scheduled to attend.  We will be meeting at the old Soderstrom Elementary gym, so please enter through the front doors of the school.  Regular practices will begin on Wednesday, September 7th. 

Freshmen need to be there both 8/24 and 8/31.  

Fiddlers: Only Freshman and Sophomore fiddlers need to attend both 8/24 and 8/31.

Veterans, here is who I expect to attend each of those nights.   If your night doesn't work, please trade with someone and let me know what the trade will be.
