1. We are selling Red Wheel during the month of February.  Pick-up your Red Wheel Sales Packets in the SVHS office.  Sales will start on February 1st and will go through February 15th.  All money will need to be turned into Kate Cooper at the beginning of practice on the 15th.  Please double count all your money before giving it to Kate.  Red Wheel Pick-up will be February 25th at the Covenant Church from 8:15-8:30am.   

2. Omaha Dance Group (Per, Jordan, Eli, Marik, Olivia, Avery, Campbell, Memphis, Lauren)  You will be leaving from the White's parking lot at 8 am on Saturday, 2/18.  You will return to Lindsborg on Sunday, 2/19 around 6pm.  Please bring $ for food and snacks.  See email from Angela Dolezal for more details.  

3. The LSFD Board had a meeting on February 5th to make some decisions on the sustainability of the organizations  trip schedules.  It was voted and passed that the group in the future would take a total of 2 trips during their 4-year LSFD commitment.  One being a trip to Sweden and the other being a short to medium length trip.  This is to allow us to continue with the current assessment dollar amount for all 4-years while in LSFD.  The group is going to Sweden this summer so this would mean there will not be a trip next year.  The board also voted and passed that the current individual account structure remain unchanged and each LSFD member is responsible for their own fundraising efforts and account balances.  This will be further discussed at the March 5th Family Meeting. 

4. Sweden Tour trip costs are being estimated at $3,000 to $3,200 per person.  This includes domestic bus transportation, round trip flight from Chicago to Stockholm, international bus transportation, overnight accommodations while traveling in Sweden, planned entertainment and museum/park visits, and some food options while we are touring.  As I continue to make reservations, a more detailed total will be shared with the group.
