Announcement: Official Travel Dates for our summer trip to the PNW.
June 19th - June 25th, 2025
Blacksmith Coffee Sales start on November 1st and go through November 20th. Orders must be entered into the Master google doc by noon on November 20th and money will be due at the start of practice at 7pm that evening. Coffee pick-up will be on December 4th at the beginning of practice.
2024 Blacksmith Coffee Resources
Poinsettia Sales also start on November 1st and will go through November 19th. Orders must be entered into the Master google doc by 8pm on November 19th. Money for poinsettias will be collected at 7pm on the 20th at practice. Poinsettia pick-up will be the last week of November (25, 26, or 27th). More details on pick-up time and location will be provided once we submit our group order.
The Prairie Patch Craft Show will be on November 9th from 9am-4pm at the Southeast of Saline schools. In the booth we will have our Swedish bake sale items. You will be responsible for getting your baked goods to the sale. This is a voluntary bake sale but I encourage everyone to participate. This is just another opportunity to raise funds for the kids' accounts. All funds raised will be split between those participating in the bake sale and those scheduled workers. We normally sell out this bake sale.

The Smoky Valley Community Foundation is offering another grant match during the time period of November 9th - December 3rd. All funds raised will be matched dollar for dollar up to $4,500.
In preparation for St. Lucia on December 14th, I've included information on our upcoming bake sale in which we give our proceeds back to support a local community need. This is a voluntary bake sale, but I encourage everyone to at least donate 1 unit to the charity cause.

Our entire group will be participating in Julkarve on Sunday, November 17th at 5pm at the Peterson Farm (3072 W Rose Hill Rd). Come learn the tradition and history of making Julkarve. Hotdogs, chips and drinks will be provided.
